Have you ever heard of the "Invisible Gorilla" experiment? Nearly half of the people watching never notice the gorilla walking right across the screen because they're focused on something else. Have you ever looked at the world, or your own life, and wondered, "God, why don't you do something?" This message explores God's patience, our impatience, and how faith is trusting that God knows when the harvest will come. We know what we should do, but somehow knowing isn't the same as changing. In Matthew 13, Jesus tells a story about a farmer scattering seeds. The surprising part isn't the seed. The surprising part is where the seed lands. Jesus reminds us that hearing something isn't the same as receiving it. Real change happens when truth moves beyond our ears and begins shaping our hearts, our choices, and the way we live. |
